日本东北大学(东北大学，日语：とうほくだいがく，英文：Tohoku University)，简称东北大。位于日本东北地方最大都市─仙台市的国立大学。东北大学创立于1907年(明治40年)，原名仙台医科大学，是日本继东京帝国大学、京都帝国大学之后设立的第三所帝国大学。成立之初称作东北帝国大学，二战后为了消除帝国主义而改为现名。2002年诺贝尔化学奖获得者田中耕一、国学大师鲁迅、数学家苏步青等均出自此校
