MPA/MPP面试的情况并不多，综排前60所高校里只有个位数的学校需要面试，但由于基本申MPA/MPP项目的同学都绕不开这些学校，所以还是面经值得一提，尤其是各高校面试手段不一，大致可以分为3种，下面智课选校帝来详细介绍一下。
1.录制好Video上传
难度：★★
这类操作起来很方便，难度不大。
你可以事先做好很多工作：①.按要求准备尽量口语化的文稿;②.多次录制直至满意，必要时可使用专业剪辑;③.上传指定页面，完成;

1.University of Chicago芝加哥大学
Video Statement (international applicants only)
A brief video statement is required for international applicants with a total TOEFL score of 106 or below, or with a 25 or lower speaking score. Submit a two-minute video statement within the online application that addresses your motivation for applying to Harris.
注意，只有托福总分低于106或Speaking小分低于25的同学需要录制Video Statement，而且所给限制也很清晰：①.两分钟;②.阐述申请动机;
2.Duke University杜克大学
Applicants are asked to prepare a short video (one-minute maximum) to inform the admissions committee who you are and what you are looking to achieve during your graduate study at the Sanford School. What you do or say is up to you as long as you provide the information requested. You might consider sharing a unique perspective or life experience and describe how it would benefit classroom discussions at Sanford.
Upload the video to an easily accessible website, such as YouTube. Then provide us with the URL and any required access codes in the appropriate fields within the application for admission. We are unable to watch videos that come in any form other than a URL link and do not accept videos sent by email or on DVD through the mail.
Duke的录制要求是1分钟内，方向也给了参考。但注意视频录制好后建议上传YouTube，将链接附在网申中。不接受邮件传输视频orDVD刻制视频邮寄。
此外，NYU的项目也是此类型，需要录制后上传YouTube，时长1分钟以内，阐述自己的独特观点、技能、相关经历、贡献等都可。
2 在线面试
难度：★★★
相比第一种类型，这一类型问题更随机，随时会被自己挖坑埋死。但好在与真人沟通，如果准备充分，还是会比较顺利的。
你可以准备的工作有：①.了解使用的软件，一般为Skype;②.如果可以，事先加面试老师好友;③.搜索面经，搜集面试老师相关材料;④.提前在线，沟通自然;

根据录取要求里的这个词，以及以往的申请经验看，面试几乎是每个小伙伴必经之路。
第一套：Director面

然后就是提问环节~
第二套：Alumni面
1. 自我介绍(在职状况)

4. Why study graduate degree right now (为什么不工作以后再来读书)
5. 职业规划
此外，Harvard哈佛大学和Georgetown乔治城大学的项目也是会case by case邀请面试。
3 在线录制video
难度：★★★★
相比第一种类型，这一类型的随机性、一次性、技术关等都让面试难度蹭蹭蹭提高不少，相比第二种类型，这一类型的思考时间和作答时间都是框死的，如何回答更需要一些技巧。
你可以事先准备的工作有：①.了解学校使用的系统，争取突破技术关;②.搜集面经，扩展题库;③.利用好系统的测试阶段;

The video essay was added by popular demand (by both applicants and admissions committee members) since the SIPA Admissions Committee does not offer in-person interviews. Applicants will be given a policy-related prompt, they will have 60 seconds to think of a response, and then another 60 seconds to respond on camera.
这个Video Essay呢是“应广大申请者和录取委员会成语要求”加的。在网申系统内，有个Video Response版块，根据instruction操作，共给1题，60s思考，60s回答;

2.Cornell University康奈尔大学
You will be sent email instructions to participate in an online interview to complete your application. eg. 1) Why am I pursuing an MPA? 2) Why is the CIPA program ideal for my interests and professional objectives, 3) What qualities do I feel make me a strong leader? (not actual questions)
Cornell尝试过各种第三方的录制系统，最近几年比较稳定在使用Kira Talent。一般面试题为4题，每题准备时间45s，回答时间90s。部分题目准备时间30s，回答时间60s。注意说明。

第一套：
1、为什么你需要这个MPA Dgree
2、你觉得你学习我们这个graduate program，你面临的挑战是什么3、如果你能解决世界上的一个问题，你想是什么，为什么?
4、你的Career goal是什么?
第二套：
1.what do you think is the most important development in the field of public affairs in the past 25 years?
2. what troubles you most in the wolrd? and what do you do to it?3.what are your short and long term goals?
4. what challenges will you meet when you study in my program?
